While Israel is fighting a war of its existence on seven fronts, the Biden-Harris administration continues to insist that a two-state solution is still viable. But like Hamas, the Palestinian Authority (PA) wants to wage genocide and endless war on Israel and the Jewish people. So, a Palestinian state is a bad idea.
Palestinian preachers are broadcasting calls for genocide of the Jews on PA-run media. PA sharia law Judge Abdallah Harb in July stated on Official PA TV: “Allah, strike your enemies, the enemies of your religion…the aggressive Jews…kill them one by one, Allah count them and kill them one by one, and do not leave even one of them, O Master of the Universe.” An additional unidentified PA preacher made a very similar call for genocide on Official PA TV earlier in August: “O Allah, strike the thieving Jews, O Master of the Universe. Allah, count them and kill them one by one, and do not leave even one of them.”
Major figures in the Palestinian Authority, who much of the world still believes is a secular organization, continue to call for religious war against Israel. Qadura Fares, the Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs, stated that “The time has come to express our anger…I ask Almighty Allah to give us inspiration on the correct path and the correct choice, and that we will set out on an intifada against criminal [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu and all his gangs.” Mahmoud Al-Habbash, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, called for a jihad against Ashkelon, a city in Israel, calling it a “city in Palestine.” Habbash further called on “all Islamic states” to “take back Jerusalem” by “all means and ways.”
And the PA continues to brainwash its children to support violence against Jews. The PA continues to support martyrdom of Palestinian youth. The largest summer camp in the PA is named after Salah Khalaf AKA “Abu Iyad,” who was the mastermind of the 1972 Munich Olympics terror attack, and the head of the terrorist group Black September. In that camp, the children are taught to memorize the “Cry and Motto” of the summer camp, which includes praising Abu Iyad and also fellow arch-terrorists Khalil Al-Wazir AKA “Abu Jihad” and Yasser Arafat. The kids in the summer camp also have t-shirts that feature Abu Iyad’s name and picture. There is a banner on camp grounds that features pictures of Abu Iyad, Abu Jihad, and Yasser Arafat dressed in military uniforms.
The PA is proud of the name of this camp. In the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida website, the PA admits that “…[t]he camp is named after Martyr Salah Khalaf ‘Abu Iyad’ to eternalize the memory and symbolism of one of the prominent leaders of the Palestinian national movement… He was one of the most prominent founders of Fatah, a member of its Central Committee… He established the first security forces of the revolution, the surveillance organization, and stood alongside Yasser Arafat, Khalil Al-Wazir [Abu Jihad], and Saad Sayel in commanding the revolution’s forces. He participated in all its battles until his death as a Martyr on Jan. 14, 1991 in Tunisia.”The PA also admits that it will continue “…honoring the Martyrs by naming schools, culture centers, streets, squares, university halls, university graduating classes, courses of the Palestinian [PA] security establishment, summer camps, and more after them.”
How can the Biden-Harris administration believe that Israel can make peace with an entity such as the PA? The PA is cut from the same jihadist cloth as Hamas. For true peace, the Biden-Harris administration should strengthen the Abraham Accords, and pressure Qatar, Turkey and others to force Hamas to surrender and release the hostages, rather than continuing to float the forever bad idea of a two-state solution.
