Rachel Zoe celebrates sustainable clothing at Art Basel bash

Rachel Zoe kicked off Miami Art Basel in a fashion forward way.

The designer co-hosted a ritzy cocktail bash celebrating sustainable clothing at 1 Hotel South Beach on Monday night, an insider told Page Six.

We hear she teamed up with the hotel’s CEO, Barry Sternlicht, and Elle Decor’s Editor-in-Chief Whitney Robinson to host the exclusive reception.

Zoe, 48, donned her own design to the event, the Violet Fil Coupe Gown ($695) in black, paired with a vintage gemstone statement necklace and a gold Chanel clutch.

“The room was buzzing with guests who enjoyed a live acoustic performance, cocktails by Grand Marnier, and passed bites,” said the source.

Notable attendees included Zoe’s husband Rodger Berman, Lily Kwong, Angela Missoni, Holly Hunt, Julien Meca, Gorana Zgonjanin, Martina Castoldi, and Nicola Cattaruzza.

The fashionista is known for supporting sustainable design companies and has even celebrated other brands that share the same ideals on The Zoe Report.

We’re told that after the event, Zoe and Berman made their way downstairs to Chef Thanawat Bates’ restaurant Habitat, for an “intimate dinner.”
